Book Review: Insert Token For Love

Ten years ago, two step-brothers entered their family’s arcade restaurant and were never seen again. Some suspected foul play—maybe even murder.

Now, the restaurant lay vacant—reportedly haunted. Samara Stormcrow, a ghost hunter determined to find proof of life after death, sets out to find the truth about Caine and Lucky Ward.

What she never expected to find was the brothers, alive, cursed, and trapped inside the arcade equipment. They need to break their spell, and maybe she’ll be just the person they need to help them claw their way out.

However, Caine and Lucky need to learn to get along before anything else—and that might be the hardest game in the arcade to beat.

Insert Token for Love is an MMF, step-brother, sentient object romance.

My Review

I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me of my childhood with the arcade games. The spice is low/medium, but it is backed with a really good storyline and enjoyable characters. There are plenty of funny moments to be found throughout this book as well.

Caine and Lucky may be brothers, but they are different. Lucky has a sunny personality whereas, Caine is grumpy. I really liked Lucky's bubbly personality but laughed at the gruff responses from Caine. The addition of Samara to the group dynamics is just what this threesome needed.

Reading this book is like winning at the claw machine. You can't go wrong.
