Book Review: Blood of Dragons

 


The Death King betrayed me—so I did the same to him.

My time in Talon’s captivity has complicated my feelings. He’s more than a monster that conquered innocent people for his own means. He carries a lethal wound no one can see, a justification for his cruelty. But I have wounds too—wounds that he caused. My Review

Calista has grown stronger from when we first met her in book one and where she was captured by Talon. I really enjoyed seeing her come into her own. It actually was a nice change to not see much interaction between Talon and Calista.

The separation allowed me to get to know Calista better. Where the saying goes..."Absence makes the heart grow fonder." This is true as Talon realized just how much Calista means to him. Calista was not the only one that I got to know better either. Reading about Talon's origin story allowed me to understand just who he was and is now.

It was great to see Khazmuda again. Another dragon that I liked is Inferno. I do wish that he could have stayed a bit longer in the story. Although, I do hope to see him again in a future book.
