Audiobook Review: Covenant of Control
I was lied to.
I was ruined.
I was corrupted.
But now… I’m in control.
Surviving them was only the beginning. Now we have to face something much bigger than us… and far more dangerous. And the men who once owned my fate are now the ones I might have to save.
Freedom was never going to be free. And loving them? That might cost me everything.
And not everyone will make it out alive.
Covenant of Control is an enemies-to-lovers, secret society, academy romance and the fourth and final installment in the Regents of Covenant House series.
My Review
As soon as you start this book, you can feel all of the anguish and pain that Cade experienced. My heart was breaking for her. She was experiencing PTSD. As much as she loved the guys, Logan, Ryder, and Cole, the thought of being with them was too overwhelming for her.
I do appreciate that as much as the guys wanted to rush back into Cade's life and hold her and never left her go, they did recognize that she needed space and respected this. Not to say that they didn't keep tabs on her by stalking and spying on her.
If you get the chance to listen to the audiobook, go with the audiobook. Narrators, Lucy Rivers and Matthew Sharpe do amazing voice work. You will feel the emotions even greater with the audiobook.
