Book Review: Of Headless Hollows

The Headless Horseman stole me away, convinced I can break his curse.I shot him down, thinking I’d killed the legend. Too bad no one told me the Horseman can’t be killed.

Now I’m chained in his torture chamber, helpless as he tries to pry my secrets from me.

He’s ruthless, merciless… and yet, each twisted touch burns deeper than fear.

I just pray I escape before I lose myself to the darkness in his eyes.

Fans of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Laura Thalassa’s The Four Horsemen series will be captivated by this dark, twisted tale of love, vengeance, and the supernatural.

My Review

I really liked this unique twist on a classic story. It was not the typical cast of characters that I grew up with in the story. Although, I like the tie into the original story. The story as a whole is what I enjoyed the most. The gothic vibe and the fact that I was engaged with the characters made this an intriguing read.

Fallon is on a mission to destroy everyone in his path. That is until he meets Katalina aka Kat. They shared an enemies to lovers vibe. Yet, their chemistry is not an instalove but a slow burn one. I liked this better as it felt more believable and real. Although, the romance is not the main focal point of the story and there are just a few quick, spicy scenes. The way Fallon and Kat's relationship progressed was nice.
